Area 3, Harmony, Inc. :: Scholarship

The Susan C. Trenchard Memorial Scholarship is sponsored by Area 3, Harmony, Inc., from donations by friends and family of Susan C. Trenchard and with continued support of the Trenchard Family.

From serving as Area 3 Manual Chair and Area Convention and Contest Team Co-Chair, winning the Kay DeLong award in 2002, the Area 3 service pin in 2006 and countless other accolades, Sue embodied the spirit of giving on and off the stage.

Scholarship Criteria

Eligibility: The applicant must be a student that is sponsored by a current Area 3 member and enrolled in a K-12 music education degree program at a college/university in the United States or Canada

Deadline: Applications must be submitted electronically no later than April 15, 2024

Scholarship: One-time $1000 scholarship

Evaluation: Winners will be selected by the family of Susan C. Trenchard with notification to Area 3, Harmony, Inc. by April 29, 2024
